Junior Competition in Bucks County
The Bucks County Tennis Association affords young players plenty of opportunitites to hone their tennis, social and sportsmanship skills.  To find a program in your community, please click here.  Program details follow.  In addition, the organization holds the BCTA Jr. Classic, a Boys' 16s USTA-sanctioned tournament, in October.  Please check back for details.
 
 
 
TUESDAY IS JR. TEAM TENNIS NIGHT IN BUCKS COUNTY
Low-key, age/skill appropriate competition and team fun—perfect for participants who have previously been involved in BCTA’s Learn, Practice & Play program and others (including junior high school players training for their high school team). Program adopts the “learn by playing” model common in other youth sports. Each Tuesday, players will participate in 20 minutes of warm-up drills/practice followed by 40 minutes of supervised match play (singles and doubles). QuickStart tennis courts and equipment will be used for ages 6–10. Teams are co-ed and will have home and away matches. Core Creek home matches will be played at Core Creek Park Tennis Courts and away matches will be played at other municipal sites in Bucks County. Minimum of 4 players per team—maximum of 8. A volunteer parent team manager is required for each team (BCTA will provide the coach).
Age divisions:
·         Little Aces, ages 6–8 (matches on 36-foot courts): 5:30–6:30 pm
·         Future Stars, ages 9–10 (matches on 36-foot courts): 6:30-7:30 pm
·         Juniors, ages 11–14 (matches on full-sized courts): 7:30–8:30 pm
Fee: $70 per participant, includes team T-shirt
Season J1: Tuesdays: May 22, 29; June 5, 12, 19
Season J2: Tuesdays: July 10, 17, 24; 31; Aug. 7
 
 
 
BUCKS COUNTY YOUTH GRAND SLAM CIRCUIT
The new way to play tennis for kids 8 & under!
The BCTA will sponsor two fun tournaments for players ages 8-and-under in Central/Upper Bucks and Lower Bucks County. These 3 – 4 hours USTA tournaments will be held Friday evenings,(rain date Saturday) and will use the QuickStart 36-foot courts and equipment. Tentative schedule is 7/13 (Doylestown Borough) and 9/21 (Bensalem Community Park). Check back for details.
Fee: $15 per player
