What a Racquet Team from Bucks County Racquet Club in Washington Crossing sealed the No. 1 spot with its playoff victory over the Doylestown Devils of William E. Neis Park, on October 22.

The league's season-ending standings are as follows:
1. Bucks County Racquet Club What a Racquet (Washington Crossing)
2. BCTA Doylestown Devils (William Neis Park)
3. BCTA Racqueteers (Core Creek Park)
4. BCTA Djokers (Core Creek Park
5. BCTA Slicers (Simmons Park).

An October 29 playoff among the four BCTA teams in the league had to be re-scheduled—thanks to the Halloween historic snowstorm—to November 5, and turned into an exciting “Super Saturday” event!  In edge-of-your-seat close matches, the Simmons Park Slicers cut out narrow victories over the Doylestown Devils (23–21) and the Racquetters (30–25).  The Djokers bested the Devils in 20–18 nail-biter, while the Racqueteers edged out the Djokers, 27–25.

Congratulations to all the players for a great season and great attitudes! And a very big and special thank you to the BCTA coaches and parent managers.

Looking forward to the 2012 season!
