While all events attracted athletes from throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and West Virginia, the USTA Challenge Circuit L6 events are for experienced tournament players and the Championship Circuit L4 tournaments offer the highest competitive level in the region for athletes seeking to qualify for national competition in their age division.
BCTA Program Director Laura Canfield said, “It was a wonderful opportunity for Bucks County to safely host high-level sporting events. Tennis is an extremely low-risk activity during the current pandemic, and these tournaments showcased talented athletes not only skilled in tennis, but who also displayed a high respect and commitment to community safety and good sportsmanship throughout the two weekends.”
